Keaton 4/12/2014 – 4/13/2014

The three of us fished Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday out of Keaton. The day could not have been more beautiful. We fished in 3.5 – 5 feet of water all day and the bite was fierce. They seemed to only want live shrimp and we bought 200 thank God because Keaton was out of shrimp by 12:00 Saturday. Water temps started around 73 then got up to 77. The fish gods smiled on us and we actually got into a few red fish. Caught probably 20 short reds before getting some keepers! We ended up with a limit on Saturday and a few on Sunday with some Spanish and one Sheepshead.

Nice catch. I do have one question, did y'all limit out on reds Saturday and catch a few keepers on Sunday? If so shouldn't y'all have 8 or 9 reds in the photo...unless of course y'all ate 5 or 6 for dinner Either way nice catch and I was just curious...

We picked up 3 keeper reds and they were eaten. All the rest are still swimming as they were under the slot.
