Looks like a Puddingwife "Green Wrasse" according to the illustration in Dunaway's Sport Fish of the Gulf.

Looks like a great one for an aquarium! Get anything else out there at the k tower? Cobia, kingfish, or AJ's?

I've caught them and some that are more orange/red. I guess you figured out that little bitty mouth will bite the crap out of you.

It is a Puddingwife according to the book on gulf fish it says that they are good to eat but not often eaten cool fish to catch would like to catch one one day
