We stayed in five to six feet of water the whole time. On the way home by 4:00 P.M. Only caught 8 or 10 shorts. Had one just over 20"

IF YOU GO TO KEATON THERE ARE ONLY TWO OPTIONS TO LAUNCH YOUR BOAT, THE PUBLIC RAMP WHICH IS VERY NICE ($5.00 FEE) AND THE MARINA VIA A LIFT. FEE'S RANGE UP TO $20.00 DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF YOUR BOAT. MOST PEOPLE JUST DRIFT THE GRASS FLATS IN THREE TO SIX FEET OF WATER, FOR TROUT. IF YOU GO ON THE WEEKEND IT WANT BE HARD TO SEE WHERE MOST PEOPLE ARE FISHING.STAY IN THE MARKED CHANNEL UNTIL YOU HAVE PAST AT LEAST #5 MARKER. ON LOW TIDE I WOULD GO A BIT FURTHER.
