The scallopers will probly have to go south to Keaton or Steinhatchee to find any.

I heard, (but have not confirmed) the count around Crystal River was really good. They should be doing the Steinhatchee count pretty soon, but in my experience, the surveys aren't always reliable indicators. Some of the stations they do counts on are in water most people deem too deep for snorkeling, and with all this fresh water, I'm afraid that's where the majority of the scallops will be this season.
