Wondering what to do?

I'm new to the St. Marks area but have been out a few times with some success. I'm itching to get back out, but from what I've been reading on this site, fishing after all this rain may not be productive. Would you fish towards the middle of next week with the weak tide after all the recent rain or would you wait until the following week noting that the moon will be full mid-week. I've seen some post that don't advise fishing on or near a full moon. Any and all suggestions welcome!

I think we will be good mid next week... not the best conditions but better than staying at home ;-)
I also think slow days are good times to explore new areas. You always learn something on the water!

I tell everyone, if you have an opportunity to go, GO!

A) You don't know when you'll be able to go again, no guarantee!
B) It gives you an opportunity to be out there when others may think, "eh, not worth it!"
C) The opportunity to learn how to fish in various conditions is incredibly important, don't limit yourself!
D) JUST GET OUT THERE AND HAVE A GOOD TIME! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I agree. The fish still eat when the water is stained.

The owner of our livestock sale barn sales on Tuesdays. His answer as to the best time to sell cattle is: " If you can't sell this Tuesday then next Tuesday!"

That is the way it is with fishing. If you can't go today then go tomorrow. The BEST TIME to go fishing is……..anytime you can!
