Fishing with "breakfast"

I just had an interesting conversation with a client about his recent fishing trips. He seemed to have been having alot of success 18miles SW out of St Marks. He shared with me something called "fishing with breakfast."

He puts squid inside a small mackerel and fishes off the bottom. He guaranteed catching my limit on grouper and snapper. =)

Just wanted to share as that is a new one on me. Maybe you more expereinced boys have heard this before.

Sounds like a double barrel shotgun approach to me. If one doesn't get him the other one will!

Try it and let us know how it works for you.

Thanks for sharing.

Ive done it the other way around-- Sardine in a squid.
Bulks up the squid profile and adds smell ;-)

Just make sure your "small" Spanish is legal to stay within the law.
