Lighthouse 8/2

Got to the lighthouse at 6. The top water bite was on for about 45 minutes. I brought a nice red all the way up to the kayak but lost him trying to get him in the net. The top water bite died as soon as the sun came up. Fished the rock garden area till about noon. I managed to hook into 7 short trout, one 19" trout and several jacks and happy to report zero catfish! It was a Great day on the water! We truly live in the greatest part of the country.
