Take A Kid Fishing 2014

Just heard from Shirley Harrell, the event coordinator for the Florida Baptist Children’s Home on Buck Lake Road. She is planning the October calendar and October 11th is the date for Take a Kid Fishing. Good news – no FSU home game on that date!
It's time to save the date for this year's Take a Kid Fishing! The water will be just right in October. What better way to share a perfect day than to go fishing with a child from the Fla. Baptist Children's Home. These kids are really looking forward to our annual Take a Kid Fishing. Date is Saturday, October 11, 2014, out of Fort San Marco as usual in St. Marks. If you can make it or know some one who might be interested, please call 850 510 0828 or email me at doneengland@gmail.com. Fishing hours (by popular demand) are 8 to 1:30, back in by 1:30 pm for the cookout. This year we need enough boats for at least 24 children.
There are children at the home that have done this event before, but there are also new children. Once they’ve fished this event, they really look forward to doing it again. So, if you ever wanted to make a kid happy and have unforgettable memories, this is a day you won't forget for a long time.
