Selling Mom's old car- I have some questions.
I printed off the Bill of Sale from the State of GA and the bottom it has the purchase price and below that it has a space for sales tax in county of purchaser. Below that is tax due amount. So I have to collect sales tax? Who do I have to pay it to? That's news to me. The last time I bought a truck it was from my dad. I wrote a check and he signed over the title.
So what is the "legal" thing I need to do to sell the old Cadillac?

Did ya miss the little tidbit above the price/tax boxes that says it's only required for out of Georgia purchases
