Fished the refuge from 7:45 AM - 1:30PM today. Odd day, in that there was no activity until about 10:30. Couldn't buy a strike until mid-morning when I got a 21 " trout on a white shrimp pattern. Next I picked up a couple of jacks and got cut off by spanish a few times before landing a 17" inch mack. Ended the day with an 18" redfish. Everything but the trout came on olive/chart/tan or olive/chart/white clousers. The red and trout hit when there was little or no movement of the fly.
