Home for Mick

A couple of years ago one of my kids came home from the fair with a goldfish in a baggie that he's won. No big deal, fish are fun to watch. Got a tank and started feeding him...and feeding him...and feeding him. Long story short, the kid moved out and I'm stuck with Mick. He now weighs about two pounds and can barely turn around in his aquarium. All he does is eat and poop. I've tried teaching him tricks, but all he does is...eat and poop. Oh, and he turned from gold to white.
Anybody have a koi pond that they would like a free addition to?

As a kid my sisters and I got Mom a goldfish and a bowl for Mother's Day. "Crawford" lived for 22 years, several bowls and one small aquarium. At 19 Dad found Crawford on the kitchen floor. He revived the fish. From that point Crawford swam upside down and with a bent tail. I think we paid 15 cents for that fish.

One Keeper, yeah the lady wants him. Spoke to her yesterday and again about an hour ago. He goes to his new home tomorrow. Thanks for your help. I really didn't want him to end up as cat food.

Thanks Salty Gator for your help too. He's going to a coi pond with lots of other friends. My cats Vito and Vinnie are pissed, but so what. Who cares?

What surprises me about this thread, is that nobody offered a good recipe.
