2014 Take A Kid Fishing will be Oct 11 at the Fort San Marco park at St Marks river. There will be about 24 children from the home arrive about 7:45, get paired up with their captain ,and blast off at 8:00AM. I try to pair up the children from the home to the captains children same age group and boys with boys,girls with girls. Everyone should be back in by 1:00 for a cookout at the pavilion . Most all captains should expect a sponsor or house parent to accompany the child from the home. Please let me know if you can help .

The ramp fee has been waived at the park and all the food has been donated . Year after year , this event is one of most fun days that they look forward to .
