The wifer, daughter & son (trouble makers….)
Had to hunt hard to find the scallops and we covered some territory. It was low tide so our close inshore spots were too shallow so we had to scout further offshore to the south. Scouting multiple spots we never found an abundance of scallops and continued working south. Viz was worse as you worked towards Steinhatchee. Around Dallas Creek (closer to Steinhatchee!) there was a scallop flotilla of 15 boats tight together but they were in solid turtle grass and the viz dropped compared to Keaton so we headed back up north to clearer water. Finally found a spot with mixed grasses (turtle & manatee) and enough scallops to work. Didn’t tear em up but it was a fun family outing!
Got a new camera to replace my 2 year old one that flooded while lobstering so I played a bit with it but the water clarity wasn’t the best - there was a yellowish hue in the water. Not the best photos but they were fun taking them.

Spotted seatrout hiding its head but the tail was sticking out.
Interesting pinfish were clustered all over its tail until I chased them off taking the photo.
