Had a fun short trip on a buddy’s boat yesterday. We shrimped Saturday afternoon south of the Hwy 16 bridge on the east side for 1 hour & 45 minutes starting at 4 pm with an incoming tide (high tide = 5:47 pm). One 8 foot and one 6 foot shrimping net. Got 3+ gallons of solid mediums before the tide slowed and shrimp became harder to pinpoint. Rained a bit but wasn’t blazing hot.

Seem to be running a little late this year but anticipate a good couple more weeks.

Going next weekend to mullet fish and hopefully net some shrimp. Thanks for the report, it's got me ready to go now!
