First Fish

Just got home from a few days in North Carolina for my wife's family reunion.

A highlight for me was helping her four year old nephew catch his first fish. They live in SanDiego California and I guess bream fishing is not "hip"

HEY WELBY, THAT IS THE WAY TO DO IT, I STARTED ALL OF OUR KIDS WHILE THEY WERE STILL IN DIAPERS AND THEY HAVE BEEN FISHING EVER SINCE. MY OLDEST DAUGHTER CAUGHT A 8 # BASS WHILE WE WERE TROLLING FOR SPECKLE PERCH, SHE HOLLERED, HEP,HEP,HEP, DADDY, JUST AS I TURNED AROUND SHE WAS ABOUT TO GO OUT THE TRANSOM OF THE BOAT, I GRABBED HER BY HER DIAPER AND SHE FINISH REELING THE BASS IN. FIRST THING IS TO TEACH THOSE BABIES HOW TO SWIM BEFORE THEY ARE WALKING GOOD. ALL OF OUR CHILDREN HAVE TURNED OUT TO BE GREAT FISHER'S , SKIIER'S, AND BOAT SAVY, DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM OR THEIR CHILDREN WHILE WE ARE ON THE WATER.
