The fishing Wednesday was good. I attribute the lower water temps to the fish being more active. The reds were crushing top water and sub surface hard baits. Lots of bait close to the shorelines.
Water temps were in the mid 70's. The clarity was still not good, but the fish didn't seem to mind much.
The fall flats explosion is just a few days away I suspect.
Caught 1 short red and 5 others from 20" to 27", two nice trout 20" and 22" as well as the obligatory catfish, lady fish, jack and blue. By the way, the two lady fish were big enough to feed B-man's family for at least two meals.
