Went out yesterday
The day was so bright
We fished to the left
We fish to the right
The boat ran great
but we didn't get a bite

Perfect description. It fits our day on Monday also.

We fished from Live Oak Island to Skippers Bay, and there was practically no activity. We caught a ladyfish and a small trout. That was it. Saw redfish, but they weren't interested.

I guess the high pressure that moved in did it.

Country left out of Econfina,
He searched the entire arena,
He moaned with a belch,
we didn't catch zilch
But it was closer than San Fernadina

Out deep enough
you did not go
8 foot deep
the trout did flow
into the cooler
they go

Actually, while fishing Ecofina, we limited out on trout a couple weeks ago at 8 foot deep, me and my buddy. And I did catch a short groupah. :smt005

Looking at a trip next Thursday. Would you think that the cool nights for the next week might bring them in to shallower water?
Weather looks good and tide seems to be moving.
