Well, after the lovely weekend from you know where last weekend, the two old dogs answered the bell again this morning. Very few problems, other than wounded birds hitting the water, diving and never coming back up. These we were able to retrieve. Thought we had two more we could retrieve to fill our limit, but alas, they dove and never returned.

Really not many birds and they did not decoy very well, but we stuck with it until hunger won out at 11:30 and we left to go eat.

Nice bunch of ducks. Glad it went better for you than the last trip!

Y'all did good if you were hunting the same waters as last weekend. Hunted both afternoons, had one duck come in Sat and didn't pull the trigger Sun and only saw 5 ducks.

Skunked on Jackson Sat AM. I think the birds were all looking for Mudducker.

Switched lakes after not seeing enough birds at the tow about lake. Still very surprised by the low number of birds we saw. I really expected the weather to drive more birds down.
