Hey guys and gals,

We just wanted to let you all know it's official the Valdosta house has sold and closed, the move has been completed, and I will be joining my bride, Celeste and daughter Emily in Raleigh, NC the end of this month!
The CelestialCrab is still in Carrabelle, FL so you may still see a offshore report/post before it's all said and done, but after that she is up for sale and we will NOT be dragging here to OBX at this time. so you may yet still see her cruising out on the pond! I have enjoyed the Gulf of Mexico for going on 20 years now and I will miss the people we've met along the way and all of you who have participated in our adventures; whether aboard the boat, or comments you've made in our reports! I will always be a BigBendFishing.net follower & supporter and hopefully continue a friendship with Mr. Bevis for years to come. Can't say enough good things about the people here you have been like family to us and we wish you all the best in fishing and life in the future, however our future is no longer in So. Georgia and we look forward to a new and rewarding future in North Carolina, IF she ever sails out of the OBX ya'll are welcome aboard the CelestialCrab II any time!

Sincerely, Joe and Celeste :smt006 salute1

Thanks PA, There may be some trips back to fish definitely, just probably not in the Celestial Crab. Have too many friends with similar boats to make it worth having my own anymore so far from where we'll be living.

Top picture sure brings back memories... HECK of a trip I won't soon forget with Celeste setting the cobia boat record the day she stepped aboard Marine's Dream, and that with Sharkman and I targeting / tagging them for years.

Will sorely miss your fish-filled reports, Joe. Couldn't tell from the post how badly you want the CelestialCrab up NC way, but if you get her there I trust y'all will be slamming monster fish in no time! Please, please share reports when you have them so I can live vicariously through them, and know if y'all are down this way and want to chase cobes I'll be happy to hear from y'all.

John, Woopty, JHults, Greg, you guys keep up the good reports for me, the CelestialCrab will be thinking of you often and certainly not leaving the forum so I'll be watching too! The boat is for sale I won't be taking her to NC. We just don't have a place to keep her and I haven't even been to the coast yet. I will be in Carrabelle this weekend for a little trip and hopefully run the CC out to do a little fishing if weather permits but I imagine that's the last trip she'll take under my hands. I'm not gone, not dead and certainly not done fishing or writing about it so we'll keep you all up to date on our adventures! I'm grateful you all took time to even read my ramblings and hope to one day get to fish with everyone of you!

Peace,
Joe

P.S. Thanks John, love watching that lady fight fish, she is one of the best I've ever seen. I know we wouldn't ever have anyone else fight a big fish in a tournament she sure knows how to fight those big ones!
