I'm thinking one of these under a cork with a small split shot crimped on would be great on the flats. These cold windy evenings would be a good time to make up a few to try when the water warms up. You might have to go with a sturdier hook.

Man I gave up @ 3 minutes....I was not that good at home economics anyways ...good luck with them scrimps
