Got a whole week off last week, left Tally monday mornin early to fish SGI a little

Bottom rig went off left to right hard, then the fish ran towards me, then turned and pulled drag... what could it be???? A big honkin catfish :hammer:

Image

Then I got into some spanish with a chrome rattle trap / silver spoon / gotcha plug. This was the first fish on my new stradic

Image

Then I landed a bigger spanish which was 20 inches +, you can see where my hand was.

Check out this beach cart my buddy made!!!

I wound up catching some of the biggest whiting I have ever seen and then when the spanish bite slowed down, the ladyfish moved in. It was all ladyfish and whiting for the rest of the day so I went and checked in at the rental house.

Then I went out with a guide from Indian Pass on Wednesday, we caught 33 keeper trout, kept 10. We also caught some bluefish and some more ladyfish. Largest trout was 22 inches.

Then on Sunday I went out with my buddies shark fishing.

Fish On!!!!!!!!!

MY hands are getting tired!!!!!!!
We caught about 6 this size. Thats a real tattoo but its a totally different story. If any of you have kids that want to get tats, IM me and I will talk to them. I am sorry its even in the shot.

Here is us wrangling another shark. Its hard to part with those Gamakatsu hooks ;-)

The girls that were with us got into some smallish Jacks out there. They were having a blast tearing up those jacks on our ultra lite tackle. Then we kept a few of the jacks and ladyfish for bait

I want to hear the tattoo story. That is really not too bad for a prison tat. (JK)

Sounds like a great week. Who did you fish with out of Indian Pass?

I fished with Milton Tarpley out of Indian Pass, good guy, hard fishing all day non-stop for a reasonable price. We limited out in 90min

Tattoo story: Be 17, place Cuervo Gold bottle to lips and swig, repeat for hours, get nickname "Sharkey" tattooed on arm, wake up, laugh about it until you are about 23

Dale- That is actually a cooler that looks like a battery

You get one when you buy the battery

I use it as a bait cooler for frozen squid and cut strips/chunks of ladyfish and jacks

Good report Atticus. Got beat to the question about the die-hard. Wondering if it took a battery that large to start your wade fishing wagon.

Good Job Luke! :D

Now... lets doll up that wagon .... how bout put'n doolies on the back with some mudder's ... maybe split rims on the front to give you a little more float... mount a pedestal seat in the middle and a bimini top over the whole thing... what'd think?? :o

Diehard power on a wagon - lights for night fishing, trolling motor re-rig for power in the powder sand, sparkly disco ball for the slow times, karaoke machine, radar, ham radio, linear etc.

I would put spinners on that bad boy!

Those are the rod holders I've been looking for!
That buggy's probably more valuable than my vessel.

What a great week, Luke.

The cart is missing the Bigbendfishing.net decal on both sides. Maybe you should consider it...
