If that picture is your snapper then your snapper were grunts. This is not a bad catch, and they eat fine, but not the same fish, or bag limit.

The cut is usually slow this time of year. Those are Ruby Red or pink mouth grunts and are good eating. Are far as I know there still is no limit on them. Those rock bass are the best tho. Fillet and blacken 1-2 minutes on each side.
