St. Andrews Bay 04/18

Post by Chalk »

Have a tournament coming up so was about to go out of my mind this week wanting to get after some fish. Left work early on Friday and looked into some new spots that I haven't fished. Wind was honking out of the southeast...luckily the place I was looking at was in the bay and somewhat protected. Caught one over red, some trout and a flounder before I had to get in. Caught them on Bite-A-Bait slow suspenders.

Weather had Saturday as it was going to rain around lunch so meet up with DP before the sun came up and we had a plan for scouting and took off. Hit a few obscure places and and fished like it was the last day of fishing. Ended up with six or seven reds and a few trout. Most of the reds were overs, but that is the type of fish we need to be around. Caught them on slow suspenders and custom Bite-A-Baits.

Sounds like some productive scouting, Chalk. Nice paint job on the plug.

Nice. What kind of photo effect did you use on a couple of those pics? Nice fish.

Nice work chalk, great fish. Good luck on tourney day. Kickstand is probably fishing rock the dock, I'm assuming you are fishing a different tournament.
