Got invited off shore Tuesday-
Weather was messy early - choppy and windy. We stayed in close and caught bait. LOTS of pin-fish.
The most exciting thing was this baby cobia that hit squid on a bait rig.
Although we never caught one, That means the big boys should be around!!

The wind started to lay mid morning and we made a run out to K tower and played with the amberjack.
They were willing and eager to bite. Dang those fish fight hard!

A fun pic with my girls back home: They were excited to see a fish longer than they are :D

Grouper were finicky. We caught some shorts and only one keeper... Not sure what is going on with them.
I did bring back a box of Grunts and BSBs. To me catching those little fish make the run out worth it.
Water temps were 72-73 everywhere we ran. Saw lots of bait and some schools of Macks or Bonita too.
It should be on fire over the next couple of weeks

Nice pics and report... seems likes lots of folks are echoing the "I don't know what is going on" phrase here lately.

I've never been there, but here's the GPS list and you could look it up on GoogleEarth with the measure tool.
