I have not posted with you guys much I am mainly a viewer since I don't live in the area and don't have a lot of success. I bought a little skiff this year so I am trying to get rid of my Gheenoe. It would make a very cool duck hunting marsh boat or creek boat for the right perspn. If I don't have a taker I am going to bring it back to GA and use it here.
I WILL BE IN THE AREA THE WEEKEND OF MAY 16th and Memorial Day - REDUCED PRICE $1400.00 - CASH AS IS. I have included the text below from my craigslist add, which also includes pictures. If you would like to see the boat or have any questions please give me a call or text 706-302-7415.
I have mid 90's Gheenoe camo in color. I bought it several years ago and have used it several weekends a year for the last three years. It has been used in salt water around the big bend area. I do not live in the area and will only be down every few weeks through the spring and summer.
Boat: 90's Gheenoe 13' high side. I replaced the transom this past summer with solid oak and solid ipe wood, with epoxy resin and fiberglass matt. The transom is extremely solid. The boat has several dings and scratches. No seats
Motor: 5 hp Tohatsu 4 stroke, with very low hours. The person I bought it from bought the motor new 4-5 years ago and ran it for 10-15 hours on a marine survey project around the St. Johns river. After his project he no longer had a need for the boat and motor. I do not live in the area and have only used it to fish around oyster bay shell point on the occasional weekend we were in the area. Even then I would only run it for maybe an hour a weekend. So very low hours. it has always been flushed with fresh water, run dry of gas and washed off after every use. I have not used the motor since last fall and I cranked the motor on 4/24 , it cranked on the first pull and I it let it run for 30-40 min in the driveway with the water hose. I was very impressed. The only problem I have ever had was a dirty carburetor and I took it to a Tohatsu dealer in my home town.
Trailer: The boat comes with a trailer. I have replaced one tire and the second tire is holding air and should be fine for a short drive. At some point it will need a new tire. It has bearing buddies. The trailer lights will need attention. I have not used the trailer except with the golf cart since I bought it. It has not had any miles on it but also it has not been used very often.
Boat comes with a fuel tank and hoses
Expired registered in Ga. New owner will have to register and tittle it in Florida.
Would consider a trade on a Bote SUP or similar high end SUP to fly fish from
