First time I made my way to the area and was not disappointed. My new go to place for sure.

Also, if you are interested, we are doing a few things and may have much more coming in the future.

Nice reds, and that far out on the flats? Were there any trout, or did you fish for them?

We weren't that far out. We were hitting all the bars by the islands... not too far from the creeks. We did get some trout. 5 or 6. We were mainly getting bit on reds, a ton of jacks, cats, sharks, and the occasional trout. Toward the end of the day, we rolled on on a school of massive jacks, cranked the stereo up, and wore our arms out for a half hour lol. It was pretty fun. We must have landed 15 over the half hour.

Those jacks are fun. I caught a 12 lb'er over at Econfina one year, we had to follow the critter a long way to wear him down. :)
