I launch at the one under the bridge a couple of times every summer. It's a nice concrete landing with plenty of parking.

The bridge is nice. The ones in state park are not concrete and tricky at low tide. Applachicola ramps very nice too,

There is one at the foot of the bridge on the left when you get on the island nice ramp but watch for east wind makes tough to load 10 foot hole under bridge coming into apalachicola probably the best one also one on left about half mile east of burger king where i put in good place to get pogies before running out

Ill be staying close to the state park. I will most likely launch at the bridge and work the bayside of the island.

Any tips on which direction to the closest Red hole?

Rattlesnake cove. Head East a couple of miles and you will see a little peninsula coming out from the island side. The cove will be on the other side. Be careful going around to the other side as it will get shallow in places. Lot of oyster bars in close.

The bridge ramp can be slammed with oyster boats. Goose island is the peninsula. Its about four miles down there and tricky getting around to the cove. Unless you have a big boat I would use either State Park ramp and you are right there. Just check it on low tide and pick your fishing spots!

Also when the wind kicks up it a long ride in open water back to the bridge and a quick exit to the park.
