Axle problem! (and questions)

Went fishing today with my Ranger. Drove down, had a couple of issues, but boat ran well. Caught two keeper reds and a flounder. One short red. We had started late due to a Doctor appointment.
So we head home and make the Walmart parking lot on Appalachee. I drop off nephew and run inside to get a few things. As I am leaving I hear a loud squeal behind me and I am thinking, don't let that be my trailer. I have heard that squeal before and instantly knew what it was(never one one of mine, but on other folks trailers). Uggggh. As I step back I see the oil bath cover is gone. Spindle sitting on the housing. Crud. It is 5:30. I limp it down to Appalachee Marine and they are still there. Thank goodness.
So now, no boat for the Redtrout tourney. Can probably get my bro's working in time (minor steering wheel issue, we know how to fix, just have to make time). Going to a conference on Jun 3rd in Destin that we have every afternoon off - was planning on fishing.
Now, the question. Does anyone have a Ranger trailer and are the spindles removable? It is an 01 trailer and I doubt they had removable spindles on that old of a torsion axle. I will call Ranger tomorrow to see what is available and may see if I can pay extra for quicker shipping when they order. Anyone ever use any of the aftermarket torsion axles on a Ranger trailer? I see a couple online and they have removable spindle and grease hubs. No oil bath for me ever again. I just checked them last week and everything looked hunky dory. Crap. Crap. Crap.
