Which boats are similar to Frontier 2104

I'm sorta hung up on the Frontier 2104 style boat, but there are no used ones to be found. Is there a similar boat with as good of quality in that price range?

One thing that a lot of people say is that the Frontier is a very good riding and a very dry boat. Both of these mean a lot to me because I have two very small boys that want to fish.

Price range? That's the biggest contributing factor.. a similar boat under 20k, or similar up to 40 or over?

I was going to try and keep my budget at $30,000 or less. That pretty much puts me in a used boat but I don't know enough to know what to look for in a used one.

I know the Frontier and have experience with it so I am using it as my measuring stick per se.

Pic's on the net look a lot like a Kenner. I have a 21' that was a very dry ride.

Looks a lot like a Sea Pro SV-2100 to me. I bought a new one in 2000 and kept it until 2008. It was a good boat with the addition of a couple options. The two I added and never regretted were Bennet Trim tabs and a leaning post. Do not buy the 21' version of this boat with less than 150 hp motor, and make sure it has a tandem axle trailer. I bought mine new with a single axle and went through several axles during the period I owned it. If you check out the Sea Pro's and decide it is a serious consideration, get in touch with me and I will give you some more detailed insights.

The Key West Bay Reef is another good boat that is similar, but again, do not buy the 21' model without at least 150 hp.

Good fishin

The Frontier is made by the Kenner family under the name of K-2 Marine. They are basically a newer style Kenner.

I would like to get a 2011 or newer model due to better finance rates. The other thing is I want a Yamaha 4-stroke. I have always wanted a Yamaha and plan to get one this time.

Thanks for all of the help so far.

The reason it looks a lot like a Kenner, is that Bill and Gary Kenner designed the boat. The Kenner family is K2 marine which produces the Frontier and Blackjack boats.

I have the 18ft frontier and it does ride very good and dry. With 8ft beam, it has plenty of room to fish 3. You wont be disappointed if you find one.
