A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Going to try to get one with open sights. With my 1973 Marlin 336 30-30 sporting a new set of Skinner sights. I put a Skinner Express on it with a .5" brass partridge Skinner front sight. . . . I really think that the brass will contrast well in hunting situations.
man I love open sights!!! The excitement level increases that much more because you get that "Oh Shhhh(*)&%(*&^T" moment as soon as you squeeze the trigger
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
Polish that front sight (the part of the blade that you see thru your back sight) with some emory cloth until it shine's then put a light coat of lacquer on it. It makes a big difference in low light situations and it want tarnish.
