9/10/2015 catch

Post by Blue spinner »

Got out at 7:00 back at ramp at 11:15 watch a storm come in from the south
Fished in 5½' to 4' of water all with glow 5" shad
The trout are out there I caught 10 trout no keepers they were 11" to 15¼"
4 of the trout were right at 15" , other catches were a bunch of 5" and 6" seabass
2 blow fish 2 lady fish and 1 big azz sail cat glad my wife was not with me I would have
Had to put that snot fish in the box , I did fish top water that's how I caught the lady fish
There was something hitting the top water bait just not taking it
All n all good morning
One thing about the speed of light it gets here too early in the morning

Good report Blue Spinner and thanks. We've not had a chance to fish much this summer. Plentiful rains have made very good grass and at the same time very difficult haying conditions but we plan to get back on the water just as soon as possible. We'll give you a shout when we're up near Rock Island.

Make a heart warm to know someone is fishing and catching fish. Thanks again.
