We went to St George Island old bridge (before going on the new bridge) around 11:30 am. Picked up bait at Fishermen's Choice. Just frozen shrimp. The water was a little muddy. slight breeze. Not to hot . We where half way on the bridge. Caugeht mainly croakers and whiting. Moved closer to the end of the bridge. Caught more whiting, croakers, stingray and catfish. You can see dolphins swimming around us. There was small baitfish swimming around us too and what look like to be a large black tip shark swimming just beneath my friend on the bridge, probably ready to steal someone's catch! My friend and his son and I had a beautiful day out there. Just around the time we where to leave a couple behind us caught a large bull black drum!

That's good to hear. I want to get back over there one day. The white trout should be biting there, too.

Croakers where I beleive 9 to 10 inches. We did not see any trout.
Strange
Normally on the bridge we catch trout often beginning in July.
Not a single one this year.
