We picked up bait at Fishermen's choice. Frozen shrimp, squid and mullet.
We arrived on the bridge at 5 pm. warm, slight breeze, water a little murky and lots of people!
I don't know why there was so many people but that was nice to see.
High tide was from 4:50 pm to 8 pm.
We didnt have any hits until 8 m.
Water was pretty still and a fog rolled in.
Started with a large bull black drum. 36 in, had to let go.
As the night progressed we caught: Flounder, Permit, large whitings, large croakers, sting rays, and two more bull black drum (one was legal so we kept it).
Hopping to catch a black tip shark but no success.
Just bait fish after 10:30 pm so we called it a day.
What a lovely day

  The last time I fished there, I didn't catch anything until after dark. Then it was on fire. Good report!

Even on low tide, would I still catch fish after dark?

As long as there's some water movement, fish should bite. On slack periods about all that bites are catfish and stingrays, they don't seem to mind slack water.
