Left LH 9am, waters slick, ran east 3.5 miles then in, stoped in 3ft of water.
3 trout 12-13", on catch 2000, had a few hits on topwater but no takers.

Ran east 4.3 miles from LH, started my drift into the area I have marked.
Picked up a few shorts on pink jigs c/t, and catch 2000's, almost there,
**** someone runs in a sets down off plain right in my drift...
I did take the time however, to have a chat with them on crowding,
pulling into someone's drift. his family, his IQ, and if he needed any
egg sinkers. (I realy wanted to share).

ran east of LH 7.1 miles, stopped in 8ft, cought some nice jacks,
dang those things pull, and a few blues on bone/silver assn. (jigging)
sharks showed up, I left.

Ran in into 5ft and bam... 4 nice 20"+ trout in less than 30min. bone/silver, c/t..
Made two drifts, cought a lot of just short fish, and 10-12 trout 20-24"
wind picked up around 2:30-3:00,, bite got slow. headed back to LH,

All of the larger trout were in 4.5-5' of water,, on catch 2000, and bone/silver assn, under c/t.

Every day is a great day on the water,,, No Phone, No Work, No, To Do List

Saltshaker,

Wouldn't 7 miles east put you almost at the Aucilla? I've never been that far down before?

Great report!

7 miles miles from Light House puts you about 1/2 way between Cobb and Gray Mare Rock.. I like the area because even in deeper water
there are some rocks, scatered,, DANG  I told everyone
where I like to fish.,,
