Banded Mottled Duck from last season

Charleigh's first dove hunt 09.13.2015. She is a 13 month old field bred English Cocker.

You might think the trophy is the pile of birds, but the real trophy for me was this kid's smirky smile! I love to see kids hunting and having a great time.

So here it is ... a day at the Farm!

Weatherby SA-459 purchased at Bass Pro Tallahassee. My first with a 20 gauge and my first public land gobbler (I have called birds in for others, but the first I personally shot on public land). My daughter slept in that morning and 30 minutes after I shot this one, a Tom came across the field to me gobbling. I backed out and walked an extra mile to the truck to avoid bumping him and got on him the next day, but he would not cooperate.

Last year I went hunting for the first time ever (courtesy of another BBF forum member) and was blessed with this nice doe. One shot, straight through the heart. Fed me for over 6 months

I've got lots of trophies I don't mind showing off Don't even need to win anything to be excited about them all over whenever I revisit those pictures.

How bout my first pheasant, which was also a particularly memorable retrieve. Mike had the best retrieve I've ever seen by any dog in my life on that bird.

Every turkey is a trophy but this was one spot that was particularly sweet

Clearly we need two contest. One for Danibeth and one for the rest!

Wow!!!! So many great photos to choose from. We had to go through it several times to pick a winner! We love seeing so many pictures of all you hunters out there and really love the pictures with the kids involved. It all starts at a young age....

After about 20 minutes of looking the winner has been decided...
