Any advice on where to get a bimini top for my old Bayliner? (It's an 86 Trophy, center console 19 feet). I've checked one custom place, and they'd charge more than I want to spend on a boat that old with an 8-year-old motor. I've seen "custom" ones on the Internet for as low as $250 or so if you provide the measurements.
Anybody ever bought one used? Have a similiar 19-foot console with one? How tricky is it to get the measurements just right?

Here are some instructions for measuring. Measure the beam, and how long you want, then search fort he best price.

Thanks, guys. After I posted, I realized I should check places like West Marine and Bass Pro. Sure enough they do have the blessed things in "standard" sizes and adaptable hardware, at least online. And believe me, on the water in weather like Sunday's (near 90, no clouds, no breeze), a bimini would be a blessed thing.
I may run up to Bass Pro in Destin to see if they have one I can eyeball and figure out how it works. Based on what y'all have told me, it's not all that difficult.
