Hit the water around 9 this morning with a high tide at 10. Put over 50 trout in the boat and left at 2pm with 15 keepers.
Natural shrimp gulp about 14" under a popping cork was all that worked. 5'-8' of water was best.
Stayed about 1/2 mile south of Blacks.

We also fished Saturday afternoon from 3 until dark. Caught about 12 trout with two 19" fish being our only 2 keepers. Bite was definitely better in the AM mid morning.

Great report, I have seen times when natural was the only color they wanted, must be a lot of shrimp in the water now. Hey, Pa, I hope yall catch a bunch of them. I wish I still had my Dad to fish with me.

Went out today massive fish kill in the bay and it has turned off the bite and likely killed lots of good fish. There must of been thousands of dead fish floating and on the bottom sad sad day.

Were you in St. Joe Bay? I have heard that Crooked Island had a fish kill but have not heard of any in PSJ BAy. Headed down there tomorrow for a wedding and was planning on doing some fishing.
