Keep Barry in Your Thoughts

Barry traveled all the way to Atlanta to see what both he and I thought would be an FSU stomping of Georgia Tech. I'm sure that he, like me, watched in amazement when those pesky bugs hung around and caught a break of a lifetime to whip FSU. So now Barry has to travel all the way back with a heavy heart!

Remember Rule 22 ... don't let the play of 22 college kids ruin your weekend!

It just proves anything can happen in a ball game, even the unbelievable! Who would have ever thought it? It had everybody crying. FSU fans because they lost and GT fans because they won. Looked like either side couldn't believe it!

Pa's right. The Noles aren't their usual self this year.

Rule 22 is a good rule!

Know that in our ever-kinder, sensitive, "every kid gets a prize" world that running up scores is frowned upon but the one thing it does is put games out of reach. FSU has struggled to do it this year, and when you have too many close-call games (against mediocre teams at that) you're begging for what happened.

As a Carolina Gamecock fan, this year sure hasn't been one I can crow about and, man, what I wouldn't give for FSU to humble my obnoxious Clemson friends a bit... but... not to optimistic at how the Noles are going to fare in Death Valley. Not optimistic at all. Very different FSU team better show up.

In my best Jim Mora voice....."running up the score"? You have to put the game away before you can run up the score.

Barry was actually going to the Georgia Aquarium. The game was just to kill time. :-)

Is what it is, MudDucker... wasn't that long ago I was sharing posts about ol' Spurrier whopping up on the Dawgs.... and beating Clemson five years in a row. :smt045 :-D

100% agree. Don't get me wrong... now living just outside Tallahassee and with family ties to FSU (little bro graduated from FSU in the early 90s), I pull for the Noles but they just haven't looked crazy strong this year with Cook's running the sole exception. Hope I'm wrong about Clemson, really do... their fans are the only ones on earth more obnoxious than Gator and Dawg fans. ;-)

Fellas I'm making it... Things will be OK.
An addendum to the 22 rule... "Remember it is a bunch of adolescents playing a game!"
Still Proud to be NOLE!

After three years with only two losses I've forgotten how to react :-D

BBG, Make sure you do not forget the Gamecock fans. My experience with them has not been pleasant to say the least.

You are absolutely right, the evil genius gave us fits, until everyone realized, he ain't at Florida and hey this is still Carolina. Suddenly the shift came back, the visor has been picked up and evil has left the conference. Now all is right with the universe. :smt005
