Panacea 10-30-15

Decided to do a quick late afternoon warm up in Panacea after work. Didn't expect much wth high tide at 6:43. Saw plenty of bait and heard plenty of reds in the reeds but couldn't connect. Figured my son had the same luck. Met at ramp and he had a 21" red 16" trout and released 2 18" reds. The boy can fish !

Sorry Red Dawg, but I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who gets consistently out fished by his son.

I pretend to be aggravated but actually couldn't be prouder of him. He's gone way beyond my fishing ability without help from guides or really anybody other than using the Internet.

Figured out photo link.

Always smart to carry any where. Got to stand up for our second amendment right and be sure to keep your conceal permit up to date. I can assure you it's the best way to prevent a mass shooting and why we don't have them in the South!

Now you post this after I've inked the deal! :o Oh, well, judicious marksmanship has always been my goal! :lol:

I'm licensed to carry and ready... wherever whenever.
:smt071 :smt072

I think that was the first photo I've seen with someone open carrying while fishing.
I'm always a little nervous about salt water and guns - mine stays in the center console when we are on the water.

Bman. Probably wouldn't even consider it if not a Glock. I can completely break it down, clean it, and reassemble in 15 minutes. First gun I've ever owned that doesn't have so many springs, levers, pins, and specialty head screws that you need a PHD to take apart. It gets cleaned weekly.

Florida Statute 790.25 Allows open carry of a fireman under certain circumstances. Below is what allows me to open carry without a permit.

(h) A person engaged in fishing, camping, or lawful hunting or going to or returning from a fishing, camping, or lawful hunting expedition;

Always handy to have a fireman with you wherever you go. Gets kind of heavy after a while though. :lol:
