Lake Lafayette / Piney Z

Does anyone know if you live in Piney Z, can you get a key to the gate at the boat ramp for Lake Lafayette? Or is that just used by law enforcement? I am moving out there in May and didnt know if we can launch by truck or is it hand launch only? Thanks guys!
