Shout out to Power-Pole

Post by silverking »

Have to give some serious props to Power-Pole. When the buyer and I were going through the Bayshore yesterday afternoon, I tried the two control fobs and the dash switch to get the anchor to deploy. Lights worked on the controls and the C-Monster pump had power. Haven't had any issues with the Signature PP previously but the boat has been in storage for several months while on the market.

Called Power-Pole technical support this morning and spoke to one of their great service reps. He gave me step-by-step instructions to troubleshoot the issue and said the company would replace the bad circuit board or pump cap free of charge. When I told him the boat had just been sold, he said no problem, they would still honor it for the new owner.

Great gear, fantastic customer service and no-hesitation warranty. That's the way an American company is supposed to work.  www.Power-Pole.com

SK , I also had issues with my pro seriesII power pole. Shields marina had put 3 circuit boards as per technical supports instructions within 18 months. The boat wasn't used for three months while having a new poleing platform installed. As soon as I got the boat back home, the power pole wasn't working again. I called tech support, and they also walked me thru diagnosis process. They shipped me a new pump motor and another circuit board assembly which took me all of 20 minutes to install,at no charge I might add. They have had excellent customer service .
They also advised me to remove the inline fuse or disconnect power to the power pole when not in use.

Glad to hear you got it resolved and they stood behind it, Don.

That's a good tip on pulling the fuse.

In my move towards simplicity I have ordered a Stick-It pin for the new skiff. But I would recommend Power-Pole without hesitation and will definitely buy another if I decide to add one to the Beavertail.
