Question for Bass Pro Shops
In your sale paper I saw a pistol that I'm interested in.
The question is... I'm a Ga resident with a CCP in Georgia.
Can I buy the pistol from your Tallahassee store?

Someone else may be able to answer this as well, if so feel free to jump in.

Thanks

Neg. You can only legally buy sidearms in your state. At least that's what I've been told. Private sale is anywhere anytime. For a sidearm to sell out of state must be ffl to ffl.

You CAN buy the pistol at BPS in tallahassee, but they would have to ship it to your local FFL to do an in-state transfer. Any savings on the sale flyer would likely be eatin in shipping and transfer fees.

FWIW, long guns can be purchased directly out of state, only handguns require the in state transfer. Though there is a group lobbying to get that changed, as well as pending lawsuits regarding the constitutionality of the law.

Looks like you already got your answer, but I'll chime in anyway. You must be at least 21 and a resident of Florida to by a handgun in Florida. You must be at least 18 (no FL residency requirement) to purchase a long gun in Florida. Plus, you must not have any disqualifiers in a criminal history background check.
