New toy on the way…..

Just ordered my "early Christmas " present. Ordered a Minn Kota Ulterra trolling motor. Thats the one that self deploy, retract and trim up via remote control. Anybody out there have any experience with one of these?

I read a story on Microskiff were a guy had his deploy at 30mph. It hit the water and ripped off the bow of his flats skiff (not thru bolted) leaving him a hole in the deck and in his wallet.
Probably not the experience you were asking for. lol Other than that I got nothing as my 2 are old fashion hand control.
