Mornin all 
I can now say, with full knowledge, that a 9" fillet knife falling from a 3 foot tall counter can easily go completely thru the foot and stick into the floor! 
at least it missed the bone and "I think" all tendons

HEY WEVANS, THATS A LOT BETTER THAN HAVING ONE FALL OFF THE CONSOLE AND GOING THROUGH THE NAIL OF YOUR BIG TOE AND BEING BY YOURSELF, MAN DID THAT HURT WHEN I PULLED IT OUT. GLAD I HAD PEROXIDE WITH ME, I HAD JUST CUT UP SOME CUT BAIT.
