St. Marks 1/21/16
We fished St. Marks today from Shield's almost to the power lines. Tide was rising all morning, rained on us off and on all day. We managed 4 nice keeper trout to 18.5'' and 2 big white trout. Several shorts. Trolled and caught some and fished jigs on the bottom. Bite was very light and missed several fish on poor hookups. Bass Assassin green glitter curlytails worked best. The river is full of very small trout from power plant to past barge canal. Fun day, even in the rain. Noted a lot of trash in the river, recent rains must be bringing it down.
