Bag Limits

Post by Flats Rascal »

Coupla questions.

Bag limits are daily. If fishing overnight or out a day or two, are you allowed bag limits for each day or are you limited to what's possessed on the boat? Not sure if I worded my question properly, but I think you get my drift. If I night fish from Friday night till early Saturday morn am I allowed 5 trout or 10?

It is my understanding that fish must be landed whole. What if the little lady and I are fishing and want to grill one of the catch right there on the boat?

Talk amongst yourselves. Thanks in advance.

FR, I had the same question awhile back. The answer is you can only have one days limit on your boat at one time no matter when you leave or get back. The only way you can have more is to have more than one licensed Captain at the time.

Thanks.

I suspect if I'm grilling a fish on the boat at sea that The Man isn't gonna give me too much grief. Unless, of course, I'm wearing my "I Grill Thirteen Inch Trout On My Boat And Don't Give A Rat's Arse Who Cares" t-shirt.

I dunno.
