Finding the Red Grouper bite

After researching many of the old posts in this forum on Red grouper habitat/diet I am confident I know what to look for on my bottom machine when searching for live bottom, and targeting red grouper. We will be fishing out of carrabelle and looking for that firetruck bite. I know better than to ask for numbers to the sacred grouper holes, but if any of you would be kind enough to shed light upon what depth range we should be searching, this time of year, it will be greatly apprectiated. Tight lines!

I have fished out of Cbelle a lot and 50' has been a good depth for red grouper. Run ssw about 10 miles outside east pass. Good luck!
