This is the post that I don’t really want to make, but has become necessary. August, 8th, 2014, I was diagnosed with ALS at Mayo. Since that time I’ve lost most of the use of my arms and hands. No longer driving, can not: lift a shotgun to my shoulder, handle a rod and reel, shop full of tools that I can not use, dependent on my wife , family, and friends for a lot of support. So, I have my favorite fishing rig up for sale. Calling it a turn key would be an understatement. I’m the second owner, purchased 2001, repaired when necessary, upgraded when possible, and washed each time upon return before covering. Hull is 1997, motor and trailer 1998, currently located in Monticello. Sorry for the long post, but you tend to gather items over time.

Good morning folks.
I appreciate the interest expressed in my boat. However, I'm even more grateful for the thoughts and especially the prayers. There is no treatment at this time, for ALS, lots of research but no idea what causes it, so prayer is the best treatment. Like I said there are some really special folks on this forum. Thanks.
If you have expressed an interest I will be in touch.
Bud

Skiff Update:
My apologies for apparently getting ahead of myself. I just returned from checking on my boat. My wife and I spent several months last year in South Fl and my Son was looking after the boat at his place in Monticello. He has been in Jacksonville the past two weeks ( NAVY) and will be returning this weekend. That is important as he has a key some where to the lock on my receiver hitch. I was going to bring the boat back to Tallahassee and clean it up which it needs (nothing serious but is dirty). I believe it will likely be Monday before I can get organized for a sale (weekend weather doesn’t look great anyway). I have interested parties at this time and hopefully, I will be able to say come look on Monday. Sorry for the delay
Bud
