Went down for a boat maintenance day and ended up with a limit of trout!
Water is warm for this time of year and the trout were cooperative. Lots of 14 inchers but enough good ones for more than a limit

My buddy Dave got a keeper on his first cast

Wife and kids came down to do a sunset cruse and we caught a few more

Happy to have 10 trout on the board when all I thought we were going to do was work on the boat!

Could not get a bite on topwater- all the fish came on gulp in 3-6 feet of water.

Jealous! I've got to get my boat down there where I can get out in a hurry. Rode all the way down with my "wrecking" crew to look at blue house and best I got was some good grouper at the Coastal!

I've been fishing in St. Marks the past couple years and having pretty good luck. I'd like to try my chances in Panacea before I graduate in April and move back to Fort Walton. Does anyone have any advice on some decent locations down there to catch trout or redfish?
