TOM - explanation please

Post by Sea Gurl »

Tom,

How come sometimes when I respond to a private message - it confirms that it has been sent - but if I look in the "sent" box it isn't there. Then I find them sometimes in the "out" box instead. So have they been sent or not and how would you "send" from the out box - HELP. In simple language if you please. :smt017

Thanks

SG, Since the big T is busy, I'll take a stab on what I've observed with re: to your inquiry.

The PM that you send will remain in the Outbox until such time as the party actually reads (or picks up) the pm. Once this happens, the pm gets moved to your Sent Box.

This provides the sender a way to determine if the message has reached its intended recipient.
